About this programme

Event styling is a distinct discipline from event planning: planning runs the logistics, styling decides how the room looks and feels. This course takes you from the principles of event aesthetics through to conceptualising, designing and executing visually compelling event environments. You will build practical skills in design thinking, colour theory, theme development, mood board creation, styling techniques and spatial layout planning, alongside sourcing décor materials, working with vendors, managing installations and presenting design proposals to clients. It closes with a final project: a complete styling plan covering mood board, colour palette, tablescape, floral design and venue presentation. Guest speakers from the industry, and certification in Event Styling.
